Why the change?
When I joined tvi back in September, I scoured every page on the site trying to learn all I could about the company. I wanted to be able to answer any questions people might ask me without having to turn to my upline for answers. I was very committed to making this work as I had already lost my job and filed bankruptcy.
Recently, I remembered coming across the “Community” tab that had a subheading of “COMMITMENT” that I no longer see anywhere. Under this heading was an article about tvi and how a portion of its profits goes to Unicef.
This is to be found NOWHERE on the site anymore. Wonder why? This is the page it used to be found under:

They also mentioned it in their power point presentation and it has also been removed from that.
Interesting too, because so many members are still touting that TVI gives to UNICEF. Go on…….. google “Tvi donates to UNICEF” and see how many you find that are still saying this. If I were an active participating member and chose to use this statement, I’d sure want to be able to back this claim up!
For whatever reason, tvi has made the decision to take this statement off of their website. Which makes me wonder if they EVER donated anything to begin with. Especially, since they they stated it in black and white that they actually DID. They didn’t say they were going to, they actually said they did. No amounts were ever mentioned and that is also bothersome, as you would think they’d make at the very least a quarterly announcement stating how much their donations were for each quarter. With all the millions they are raking in, you’d think they’d jump at the chance to share with the world their donations to a charity they were involved with. There never were any announcements regarding such, and if I were still an active member, I would be asking tvi why the change? Why remove the Unicef article and statements?
Hmmmmm, maybe I will do just that anyway. If I actually ever get a response, I will update it here. Note, that I haven’t received any responses to my last sets of emails and hey, even 99% of them, so, don’t hold your breath.
I did already write to UNICEF last week and have not heard back from them. I asked if they could tell me if a company I was involved with actually made donations to UNICEF as they stated they did. I also said I didn’t need any exact amounts, just if they ever donated. I am not sure if they are allowed to publicly state that information though, but I figured what’s the harm in asking right?
If anyone finds that I am wrong in my statement and they can give a link to the tvi site that states they still participate in donating to unicef, please feel free to correct me by commenting below. As of this writing, there is nothing on the tvi site itself. Only members spouting information that may now be false. Ahhh, but what else is new, right? It’s a new year, but the same ol’ falsities still abound.

This is the best TVI tell all blog I have found! Blogerwatchdog is telling it as it is, for I also have experienced identical problems that have been expressed here. Kudos to you bloggerwatchdog for telling us how it is and getting the word out that TVI is defiantly not what senior members and TVI its self are portraying.
LidoBeach, Sorry to hear you have also had a similar experience with tvi.
Hopefully, others will find out BEFORE they lose their money!
It’s just a sad state of affairs and in this economy, it’s really disheartening.

My unsolicited two cents:
It surprises me how much energy you’re putting into trying to discredit TVI when you yourself stated in an earlier post that you DID get paid after you cycled off the board. The other truth is that you are the one stubbornly refusing to sell the vouchers to your upline who was actually asking for them… and you’re also refusing to transfer the money to your own account thru their independent pay processor, i’m guessing, because you probably don’t want to pay the wire transfer fee.
You need to stop fishing for sympathy and get to work. Everyone else I know who joined around Sept ’09 have made at least $20k in commissions already. Some have taken cash and others have taken all vouchers (they resell each voucher for $300 and turn their $10 into $12k) What you’re not saying is that you’re probably one of the reasons for the dead board you find yourself on- having qualified yourself by buying 2 additional positions and not having the 4 to put under those 2 – so of course the board is going nowhere and Mr Watchdog can’t climb up the express board until you help the others get over there too.
I realize you’re in a quandary regarding the legitimacy of the opportunity so in that case… cut your losses and sell your positions. What is you TVI username?
First, I am putting ZERO energy into this blog or TVI at all as I haven’t posted ANYTHING since January 5th. Second, I NEVER actually got MONEY. Just typed words and numbers in my back office. That NEVER became ACTUAL MONEY!
I am in no way “fishing for sympathy”, btw. I only created this blog to warn others of TVI before they also lose their hard earned money. You’d be wise to actually learn from my experience.
You seem to not understand why I choose not to use STP or LR. When I joined, I was told along with thousands of others the money would be deposited DIRECTLY to our bank accounts and we didn’t have to choose LR, which was the only other option at the time. Yes, I would’ve paid transfer fees for the bank option too, so what? (I wouldn’t have told people I got $10k though! I would’ve told them the TRUTH, which would’ve been whatever it was after the fees, NOT $10k) The DIRECT to BANK option was taken away in the midst of my transaction. Well, technically, I had waited for WEEKS as it sat their “pending” all that time before they finally cancelled it on their own without another option other than LR or STP. Why can’t you see how wrong that is???
A PROFESSIONAL company continues their transactions that are “pending” and sends out a MASS EMAIL telling their members of the changes they are going to do BEFORE they take place! So many members were in uproar over this fact, not just myself!
You need to realize why turning vouchers into cash is NOT the same as getting PAID! That is NOT TVI PAYING YOU! My biggest pet peeve is people saying they GOT PAID and they DID get $10k from TVI. NO YOU DID NOT! You may have gotten 10k+, but that was from turning it into vouchers, NOT from TVI’s financial department.
You apparently haven’t read all of my posts or you’d realize that I DID have enough people to create an entire board and then some. However, they were waiting to join to see if I actually received money into my bank account. When that didn’t happen, they bailed and I can’t blame them. I said ALL OF THIS in my posts, so, maybe you should actually READ before posting untruths. Not that it’s any of your business, but my positions weren’t on the SAME BOARD! You put your positions where they are needed most to fill other members boards so everyone would keep moving. You don’t want to have all of your own slots on the SAME board, you’d have to keep bringing 2 people in for every slot. EVERYONE ON ALL OF MY BOARDS AND PLENTY MORE HAS LEFT TVI!!! None of their names or mine would be any that anyone with half a brain would want to purchase. You’d have to purchase everyone’s names. Even the Express Board names. You aren’t getting it. TVI IS A BUST! Not because we didn’t do the work, because it’s ILLEGAL and they DON’T PAY YOU DIRECTLY AS THEY PROMISED!!!
Btw, my former upline and his upline and his upline are no longer with TVI. They were in the top selling group, made MILLIONS by reselling vouchers (not tvi paying them) and have now went on to something else. Just as MANY have that were with TVI from the beginning. It’s illegal and if I were you, I’d get out now.
