This Has Never Made Sense To Me

Something has never made sense to me with regards to tvi and Alexa ratings. Maybe I just don’t understand it, but it seems pretty straight-forward.  They keep saying that tvi started in India and the UK. Well, what I can’t figure out is, if that is true, then how come when you go to Alexa it appears that an overwhelming majority of people that go to tvi’s site are from the US.

Look at the numbers when you scroll down the page. It says:

“Tviexpress.com users come from these countries:
60.7% United States
6.2% Canada
5.8% India
5.3% Germany
4.4% Australia
2.2% United Kingdom
2.0% Thailand
0.9% South Africa
0.9% Nigeria
0.7% Switzerland
0.7% Austria
0.6% France
0.5% Indonesia
0.5% Pakistan
8.6% OTHER”

So, how can India have several hundred thousand members and yet less than 6% are going to the website?
Even less for the UK at 2.2%. Just something that has been on my mind since I joined. These percentages are true as the writing of this entry, so, of course they will fluctuate some, but not enough to make any difference.

Just something to ponder…..
